Patricia Ann Tydlacka

Patricia “Tish” Ann (Wilson) Tydlacka, 78 of Katy, TX passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022. She was born on Sunday, March 14, 1943, in Baton Rouge, LA to F.A and Helen Wilson who have preceded her in death. Tish married Donald “Don” Charles Tydlacka on April 27, 1963, in Beaumont, TX, and they were married 51 years before Don’s death in 2014. Tish and Don had two children, Bridget Ann Tydlacka Folse and Douglas Charles Tydlacka along with 2 grandchildren, Addison Ann Folse and Dillon Charles Tydlacka. Above all, Tish loved her family, and they were the highlight of her life. Tish enjoyed teaching and sewing. As a retired schoolteacher with a career that spanned over 40+ years, she brought joy to many students. Throughout her career she taught at Pietzch Elementary & MacArthur Middle Schools in Beaumont, TX; Hamshire-Fannett Junior High School in Fannett, TX and Mayde Creek Junior High School in Katy, TX.

Tish is one of six children with a surviving sibling, sister Barbara Mills of Port Neches, TX. She is survived by her children and grandchildren: Bridget, Chris & Addison Folse and Doug, Darlene, Dillon & Kerrie Tydlacka along with many friends that loved her and will miss her dearly.

A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 4, 2022, at St Bartholomew the Apostle Catholic Church, 5356 11th Street, Katy, TX. The service times are as follows: Rosary at 9:45am, Eulogy at 10:00am and Funeral Mass at 10:30am. As requested, we will scatter their ashes in the Gulf of Mexico this summer.
