Sheila Jane Jackson

She was born in Dallas, TX on June 21, 1951. She spent her childhood there and later moved to Houston, TX. She went on to get married and have two children, Vanessa and Jake. She dedicated her life to raising her children and being the best mother she could possibly be for them. They were her pride and joy along with her three beautiful granddaughters Haley, Caitlyn, and Savannah. It brought her the greatest joy in life to spend time with her family. Sheila was known for making people laugh with her quirky sense of humor. She loved taking long drives and listening to music. She also had a fondness for trees and nature.

She is preceded in death by her son Jason D. Jackson, her mother Shirley J. Lay, and her uncle Mike Ernest. She is survived by her daughter Vanessa L. Lower, son Jake A. Jackson, former husband Cecil E. Jackson; granddaughters Haley J. Lower, Caitlyn J. Lower, and Savannah L. Lower as well as family and friends.

Her memorial service will be held Saturday, March 19 at 10:30am at the Katy Funeral Home in Katy, TX.

Daniel Schramm will be officiating. Flowers are appreciated and donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
