Theresa Guesnard-Gildart

Theresa Guesnard-Gildart was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and remained proud of her roots throughout her life. She was a graduate of Westbury High School and went on to dedicate 13 years of professional service to W.M. Jones Insurance, where she was valued for her dependability, strong work ethic, and kind nature.

Theresa lived a life filled with curiosity and passion. She enjoyed genealogy research, taking great interest in uncovering family history and preserving stories from the past. She was an avid reader and traveler who embraced learning and new experiences. A devoted fan of University of Texas college football, Theresa enthusiastically supported the Longhorns and rarely missed an opportunity to watch a game. She also loved musicals, classic rock music, and classic art, with Vincent van Gogh being her favorite artist.

She was well known for her fondness for UT football, nutcrackers, and cats, all of which brought her great joy. Theresa shared a special bond with her beloved cat, Molly, who was a constant source of comfort and companionship.

Theresa will be remembered for her warmth, loyalty, and the genuine care she showed to those she loved. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Ashley Gildart; her sisters, Diane Langness and Sharon Neve; and her best friend and honorary sister, Verree Rodgers.
