

Touraj Deyhimi, born on September 3, 1955, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2025, at the age of 69. A resident of Katy, Texas, Touraj was a beloved father, grandfather, and friend who will be deeply missed.
Touraj grew up in Tehran, Iran. He left his home for a better life with his wife and first child and came to America, where he worked hard to build a new life. He learned a new language, started a new career, and made new friends, had a second child, yet he always cherished his roots and missed his family in Iran. Touraj attended university in Tehran, which laid the foundation for his future endeavors.
He took pride in his career as a restaurant manager, striving to be the best in his field. His dedication to his work was matched by his love for his family. Touraj married Nassrin Zand, whom he met at university in Iran. Although they divorced after ten years of marriage, they remained in touch for the sake of their children Nassim and Nahaleh, and grandchildren, Halle and Leila.
Touraj had a passion for sports, particularly soccer, basketball, and football, and was an avid fan of Caitlin Clark. He also enjoyed collecting rare coins and $2 bills. Above all, he loved cooking and feeding people, delighting in making spaghetti for his granddaughters and grilling kabobs.
Known for his sense of humor, Touraj loved making people laugh with his "dad jokes." He was a dedicated employee and one of the hardest working individuals known to his family and friends. In his final days, he gave his heart to Christ with his daughters by his side, a testament to the power of prayer and love for his family.
Touraj is preceded in death by his father, Mohammad Hussein Deyhimi, and his sister, Nooshin Deyhimi. He is survived by his mother, Sima Marandi; his brother, Ali Deyhimi; and his sister, Simin Deyhimi. His legacy continues through his daughters, Nassim Diaz and Nahaleh Deyhimi, and his cherished granddaughters, Halle Diaz and Leila Diaz.
A memorial service to honor Touraj's life will be held on July 30, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Katy Funeral Home, located at 23350 Kingsland Blvd, Katy, TX 77494.
Touraj Deyhimi will will be remembered for his humor, his warmth, and unwavering dedication to his loved ones. His family will continue to honor, love, and remember him always.
