Willie John Bailey

Willie was born November 1, 1942 to the late James and Mary Singleton Bailey in Thibodaux, Louisiana. He was the second of eleven children born to this union. He was raised on the Avoca Island in Morgan City, Louisiana by his parents.

Willie was united to Christ at an early age. Professionally, Willie enjoyed a career offshore as a sandblaster. One of his greatest joys in life was enjoying God's creation by hunting, fishing and trapping.

During Willie's journey in life he met and married the love of his life, Elizabeth Price. He was an amazing father to seven beautiful children.

Willie will be forever missed, but not forgotten, by his loving wife of 26 years, Elizabeth Price Bailey; his children, Willie Bailey, Jr., Wendy Bailey, Vanessa Price, Katherine Price, Joseph Price and Elliott Jason Price; his dedicated son-in-law, Frederick Franklin; 10 grandchildren; brothers, Wallace Bailey, Wilson Bailey and Jess Bailey, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Willie was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Bailey; his daughter Jacquelyn Price Franklin; five brothers, Clarence Bailey, Arthur Bailey, Carl Bailey, James Bailey, John Bailey and Lloyd Bailey; and one sister, Louise Bailey.
