Alan Grimshaw Jr.

He was born September 30, 1950, in New Bedford, Massachusetts, the son of Imelda(Messier) and Alan Grimshaw, Sr. On April 6, 1974, he married the love of his life, Karen Ksen. The couple moved to Troy in 1975, and have been in the community ever since. S

Sonny loved being outdoors, whether working on a new construction project or hunting. He loved spending time with his grandchildren: He had recently taken them to the circus, and thoroughly enjoyed it. He loved his work with the Troy Animal Control: He loved animals and wanted to make sure that they were cared for.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years: Karen Grimshaw of Troy, New Hampshire, two sons, Eric Grimshaw of Marlborough, NH., and Tim Grimshaw of Troy, NH., his mother: Imelda Hilton of New Bedford, MA., and two grandchildren: Kyleigh and Jared Grimshaw. He is predeceased by his father.

Graveside Services will be held at the Mountain View Cemetery in Troy, New Hampshire, on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 11:00am. Family and friends are invited to call on the family from 6 to 8pm on Wednesday, October 12, 2011, at the Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court Street, Keene, NH.
