Alice Bridges

Born September 25, 1916 in Waterbury, CT, she was the daughter of Leon and Eva Lasky Gould and was a graduate of Keene High School, Class of 1934. She married Paul Bridges on Feb. 22, 1936 in Fitzwilliam, NH.

Alice worked as a salesperson for Goodnow’s Dept. Store for several years and was a member of the United Congregational Church of Keene where she had been active in many church functions in earlier years.

She had been a resident of Bentley Commons since 2009.

Her husband, Paul died in 1996 and she is survived by her son: John Bridges and his wife, Jane, of West Swanzey, NH and their children: Alanna and Tristan; a daughter: Becky Cummings of Sullivan, NH and her children: Joshua and Seth; and two great grandchildren: Jackson Cummings and Otis Bridges.

Services for Alice are private and there will be no public calling hours.
