She was born October 9, 1946 in North Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of Edwin J and Alice M(Payne) Kinsella, Sr. Strength and perseverance where two of her most admirable qualities: no doubt due to growing up in North Philadelphia and surviving Polio in her youth.
Interacting with people in the community was something that she enjoyed, especially during the time that she spent working at Woolworths, Hannaford in Keene and Cheshire Medical Center Keene.
She loved being surrounded by those that she loved and she was very compassionate. Although she was known as “Little Al”, her personality and spunk was far from little: she more than made up for you petite demeanor with a sassy, fun-spirited warmth. She enjoyed taking road-trips with her friends, especially when she and her late husband would go for rides on their motorcycle. She enjoyed being surrounded by the beauty of nature and was always happy to bring the brightness and life-giving energy of flowers into her home. There was a very special place in her heart for animals, especially her dog: Sally(?). The holidays were a highlight in her life: St. Patrick ’s Day and Christmas were two of her favorites, however anytime she could be close to those that she loved, she was the happiest.
She leaves her brother: Edwin Kinsella of California and her sister: Robin Kinsella of Maine. Although she never had children of her own, she was blessed with a multitude of nieces, nephews and extended family members. She was blessed with the continued friendship and bond of family with the family of her first husband: Jerry Fontaine, especially Laura and John Fontaine. She is also survived by the family of her late husband. She is predeceased by her second husband: Ronald “Buddy” Cheever, her brother: William “Billy” Kinsella and her sister: Irene Kinsella.
