Caroline was the daughter of Clarence and Gertrude Perry and was born in Keene, NH on June 4, 1931. She attended Keene schools and graduated from Keene High School in 1949.
Caroline began working at an early age at MacKenzie’s Ice Cream. She also worked at MPB, Elliot Community Hospital/Cheshire Medical and retired in 1993 from Markem’s after 20+ years of service.
Caroline married the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Everett on February 9, 1952. They purchased their “farmhouse” in Surry in 1959 and their house was always open to anyone who wanted to stop by. In her youth, Caroline participated in the Keene Drum and Bugle Corps. She started the 4-H Club in Surry and ran it for many years. She was also involved in County 4-H activities and ran the 4-H Food Booth at Cheshire Fair for several years. She was a member of the Surry PTC when her children were in school and a member of the Cheshire County Snowmobile Club.
After she retired, she enjoyed traveling in their RV with her husband and their cocker spaniel. After seeing many parts of the U.S., they decided to spend 6 months in Florida and 6 months in Surry and returned full time to Surry a few years ago. She made many friends at the two parks they stayed at, Alafia River RV Park in Riverview, FL, and Hide-A-Way RV Resort in Ruskin, FL. She worked a few hours a week in the office and enjoyed meeting new people as they checked in. She also helped put together many park dinners and could be found with friends at various bingo games. She was an avid reader and enjoyed reading books to pass the time.
