

He was born March 6, 1966, in Willimantic, CT. the son of David J. Hope and Beverly (Adamski Hooper On August 17, 1985, he married the love of his life: Kathy J. Kilduff.
For thirty years he worked for the New Hampshire Department of Transportation and Public Works. For twenty-two years Chris raced at the Monadnock Speedway: #42 Mini. He was also a long-time member of the Fitzwilliam Sportsman’s Club.
He was a devoted husband and father, as well as a compassionate friend to many people. To those who knew him best he was known as “Hopey” or “ Uncle Chris”: whether you were a friend or relative you were welcomed with love and you knew that no matter what he was always there. Honesty and trust were two of his most admirable qualities. Bringing laughter and happiness to others was something that Chris did throughout his life and it was what made being a part of his life so wonderful. One of his greatest joys was being a Dad. He spent a lot of time with his daughter: riding 4-wheelers, snow-mobiling, fishing, riding on his pontoon boat and going on camping trips.
He is survived by his wife: Kathy J. Hope of Winchester, his daughter: Dakota-Jo Hope of Winchester, his father: David J Hope and his wife Barbara Peloquin of Keene, his mother: Beverly Hooper and her long-time partner: Brian Houle of Keene, two sisters: Katrina Burgmeier and her husband Jason of Springfield, VT and Charissa Zavorotny and her husband Gregg of Ashuelot, NH, two step-brothers: Tim Peloquin of Surry and Rian Peloquin and his wife Angela of Chesterfield, NH, nieces: Amber Neronski and her husband Eric, Lenore Macquarrie, Gwynneth Macquarrie, Samantha Macquarrie, Summer Burgmeier and Kia Warren, nephew: Alex Burgmeier, and several aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members. He is also survived by his honorary brother: Scott Lagerberg and his wife Lisa of Fitzwilliam, life-long brother and dearest friend: John Corliss, III of Winchester, best friend and mentor: Richard Racine, who he called “Dad”, very special friend: Glenn Smith and his wife Christine of Fitzwilliam and two god-sons: Eric Russell and Mitchell Palmer.
A Celebration of Chris’ Life will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2016 from 11am to 2pm at the Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court Street, Keene, NH. There will be a time of remembrance at 1pm.
The family has established a fund to aid in the furthered education of his daughter: Dakota-Jo. Memorial contributions may be made to TD Bank, Warwick Road, Winchester, NH. 03470, c/o the Dakota-Jo Hope Trust Fund.
