

Constance, also known as Coni, was born in Keene, NH on January 25, 1931 to Edward Joseph Robbins and Frances (Hammond) Robbins. Coni has one brother, Ronald E. Robbins and wife Donna of West Swanzey, NH, and one sister, Joan Bemis and deceased husband Gordon of North Swanzey, NH.
In 1951, Coni married the love of her life, Eli Edward Boufford Sr. Soon after the marriage, Coni and Eli had their first son, Eli Edward Jr. Followed by him, the Bouffords had two more sons, Michael Joseph and Edward Joseph, and a daughter, Jayne Marie.
Coni worked as a telephone operator for many years. She finally retired from the Southern Bell engineering department after over 30 years of service. She used her years of retirement to travel with her husband and the Roll’in Rebels, while also watching her grandchildren as much as she could. She continued to travel even after the death of her husband in 2000. In the last 10 years of her life, Coni worked at the Methodist School Center with the three and four year olds. She was Memere to many children.
In her past time, Coni played cards and dominoes with several ladies in Cloverleaf, bowled with her team at Brooksville Lanes, and went to Ladies Night almost every Thursday. However most of her time was spent with her sidekick and great grandson, Mason Vern Pauliot.
In addition to her children, Eli Edward Boufford Jr. from Houston, TX, Michael Joseph Boufford (Teresita) from Surprise, AZ, Edward Joseph Boufford (Terri) from Georgetown, TX, and Jayne B. Spradlin (David) from Brooksville, FL, Memere is survived by her grandchildren Chris (Michele), Jean, Eli III, Kyle, Santana, Heather, Ashley (Kenny), and Brittany Jayne. Furthermore, Memere has 6 great-grandchildren; Mercedes (Evan), Jordan, Ty, Tanner, Mason, and Randy. Memere also has two great-great grandchildren, Anastaszia and Isabella. As her family is very big, Coni has many nieces and nephews: Sharon, Pam, Wendy, Dee Dee, Karen, Krissy, Darcy, Wanda, Edwina, Debbie, Gordon Jr., Randy, Gregg, and Steven. Additionally, Memere leaves behind a very large extended family.
A celebration of life was held at the First United Methodist Church in Brooksville, Fl. on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 6PM, followed by a funeral service at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Brooksville on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 11:30AM.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 12:00PM in the St. Joseph Cemetery, Main Street, Keene. Family and friends are welcome. There are no public calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be given to the Methodist School Center, 109 South Broad Street, Brooksville, FL 34601.
The Foley Funeral Home of Keene is assisting the family with the local arrangements.
