

Diana Dunning, 75, of Keene and formerly Walpole died December 17th, 2014 from complications following a 14-year courageous battle with cancer. She took her last breath at Langdon Place of Keene, surrounded by her family.
She was born in New York City, on April 26th, 1939, the daughter of Hubert S. and Elizabeth Moore Dunning. She attended the Master’s School in Dobbs Ferry, New York and graduated from Viewpoint High School in Amenia, New York. She went on to Webber College in Babson Park, Florida and received a degree in Merchandising.
She married Jerry W. McGreer on July 16th, 1960 in Ridgefield, Connecticut and had four children together, her family was her life. In 1975 she became a realtor at Jeanne Galloway real estate office in Walpole and in 1983 established her own business, Color and You by Diana. She still found time to help others and was a hospice volunteer, a member of the Cheshire Medical cancer support group, and an encouraging speaker for Christian’s Women Club.
Her family describes her as compassionate, funny, and a deeply loving person who put others’ needs before her own, often helping family, friends, and even strangers. She was creative and dedicated to everything she set out to do, she will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Diana is survived by her husband Laurence D. Cerretani of Marlboro, Vermont and his two children Anthony and Lauren of New Canaan, Connecticut. Her children Stacey Allen and husband Timothy of Walpole, Ted McGreer and wife Heather of Keene, Andrew McGreer and wife Victoria of Birmingham, Al., and Lynn T. McGreer of Swanzey; her grandchildren Matthew Allen and wife Jetts, Harrison Allen and wife Brittany, and Whitney Allen, Riley Galvin, Taylor and Anthony McGreer, Mackenzie and Matthew McGreer, Abigail and Luke Bassingthwaite, and great-grandchild Louis Graboski; her brother Peter Dunning of Springfield, Vermont, and her first husband Jerry W. McGreer of Birmingham, Al. She was predeceased by her sister Joan Dunning Smith.
A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday December 28th, 2014 at 2:00pm at the Monadnock Covenant Church, 90 Base Hill Road, Keene, NH. Fletcher Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 33 Marlboro Street, Keene, NH is in charge of the arrangements.
