He was born to Victor and Evelyn (Kramlich) Iborg on March 14, 1934 in St. Louis, Missouri. He graduated from Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Georgia as an Industrial Engineer. He retired a Commander from the U.S. Naval Reserves.
His main interests included his family, fishing and music. He was a talented pianist.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Carolyn (Chandler) Iborg, of Marion, Kentucky. He had much pride in his two children, Steven Iborg, and wife Barb, of Memphis, Tennessee and Diane DeJong, and husband Bob, of Swanzey, New Hampshire. His beloved grandchildren, Katie Ciepierski, Adam De Jong, John Iborg, and Lucas De Jong, were the center of his life. His life will be remembered and missed by all of them.
Burial will be private. Fletcher Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 33 Marlboro St., Keene, NH are in charge of the arrangements.
