

Eugenia B. Arlen, 88, of Linn, passed away Friday, June 13, 2014 at University of Missouri Hospital and Clinic’s. She was born December 23, 1925 in Charlestown, N.H. the daughter of the late George and Rosie (Woullette) Whitney. On May 16, 1942 she was united in marriage to George P. Arlen, who preceded her in death on November 12, 1979.
Eugenia was employed with Douglas Toy and was a home care giver for MDS for many years. She enjoyed gardening, but most of all she loved the time she was able to spend with her family.
She is survived by five children, Steven Arlen and his wife Crystal of Loose Creek, Barry Arlen and his wife Brenda of Sullivan N.H., and Darrell J.R. Arlen and his wife Cheryl of Sullivan, N.H. Lisa Beaulieu of Linn and Leanna Chambers and her significant other Brenda Rosecrans of Linn; one brother: John Whitney wife Jan of Swanzey, N.H. one son-in-law, Ed Keller of Sullivan, N.H.; one daughter-in-law: Theresa Arlen of Linn; two sister-in-laws: Kathrine Whitney of Swanzey, N.H. and Karen Whitney of Charlton, MA, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by: four children: George E. Arlen, Patricia Keller, David D. Arlen Sr. and Gregory Brown; two brothers: Richard Whitney and Darrell Whitney and one son-in-law: Wayne Beaulieu, Sr.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Foley Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Sullivan Center Cemetery Sullivan, N.H. Family and friends are invited to on the family from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court Street, Keene N.H.
