Evelyn Mae Bruder

Evelyn was born on April 11th, 1929, in Keene, NH, the daughter of the late Iva (Towne) and Oscar Trombley. Evelyn married the love of her life, Alexander K. Bruder in 1948.

Evelyn loved to take care of children in her home and was a home Day Care Provider for over 50 years. She was awarded the Winchester Mother of the Year by The Winchester Star newspaper and enjoyed going to her children and grandchildren’s activities including sports, dance, and music.

In her spare time, she loved to go dancing with friends, going out to eat, visiting local casinos and playing the Slots. Evelyn loved to entertain her many friends and family for Sunday night dinners and game nights.

Evelyn is survived by her loving children, Victoria J. Tacy of Winchester NH, Bryan K. Bruder and his wife Pamela (Ryll) Bruder of Mt. Pleasant, SC. Her Stepson Timothy Bruder and his wife Gertrude Bruder of Chandler, AZ.

Her grandchildren, Spencer Gordon Tacy and his wife Christi K. Tacy of Ballson Spa; NY, Denelle Tacy Smith and her husband Brian K. Smith of McMurray, PA; Marcie S. Bruder and her spouse Heather Capitanio of Middlebury, CT; and Allyson K. (Bruder) Chivilo and her husband Justin M. Chivilo of Mt Pleasant, SC. Her Step-Grandchildren Earl Bruder and his wife Kimberly of Hardwick, VT; Edwina Betts and her husband Joe of Morrisville, VT; and Tyson Bruder and his wife Vanessa Bruder of Chandler, AZ.

And 7 Great-Grandchildren; Evan R Gourley of Davenport, FL, Alec S Gourley of McMurray, PA, Taylor Capitanio of Middlebury, CT, Maeve O. Tacy of Ballston Spa, NY, Matthew, Lilianna, and Benjamin Chivilo of Mt. Pleasant, SC; and 16 Step-Great-Grandchildren.

In addition, she is survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Evelyn was predeceased by her parents, Iva and Oscar Trombley, Step-Mother Diana Trombley, Stepson Earl Bruder, and Step-Grandchildren Thomas Bruder and Michelle Hay.

Family and Friends are welcome to attend a Graveside service on Friday, November 10th at 11:00AM at Mountain View Cemetery, 811-815 Old Homestead Highway, Swanzey, NH.
