
He was born in Keene, NH on January 30, 1942, the son of Dorothy (Verry) and Homer Forcier, Sr., and was a 1960 graduate of Keene High School.
Frank severed in the New Hampshire Army National Guard for four years and was honorably discharged on August 9, 1964. He was later called into active duty with the Army, serving until his honorable discharge on May 31, 1967.
He worked for many years at the former Robert Harts in Keene. He later worked for over 25 years as a machinist with MPB Corporation of Keene.
He was a parishioner of St. Bernard Church in Keene and a member of the Italian Club in Keene. He enjoyed collecting antique items, traveling, especially to the beach and walking the Marginal Way, and to New Orleans. He especially enjoyed his Sunday rides with his daughter, Michelle, taking his last ride with her on the Sunday prior to his passing.
He will be greatly missed by many, including his two children, Michelle Forcier and her husband, Richard Aiken, of Keene, Michael Secore and his wife, Amy, of Keene; two grandchildren, Tabatha MacQueston and her husband, Jesse, and Samantha Robinson and her husband, Justin; five great-grandchildren, Emily MacQueston, Shauntel MacQueston, Claudia MacQueston, Hunter Robinson, Joslynn Robinson; three brothers, Homer Forcier, Jr. of Marlboro, MA, Richard Forcier and his wife, Vicky, of Keene, Paul Forcier and his wife, Beth of Keene; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Forcier.
A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, July 11, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00PM in the Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court Street, Keene. Burial with full military honors in the Woodland Cemetery, Keene, will be private.
