One of six children of the late Margaret (Bosley) and Fred H. Aldrich, Sr., he was born on November 10, 1939, in Bennington, VT.
Fred was the Red Sox’s number one fan. He loved the great outdoors and hunting and fishing.
Fred will be dearly missed by his sons: Fred Aldrich, III and his wife Julie of Keene, NH, Tim Aldrich of Swanzey, NH, and Scott Aldrich and his wife Amy of Athens, VT; grandchildren: Fred, IV and his wife Leigh, Matthew, Amanda, Sydney, Scott, Jr., Nico, Kayli, and Jordan; and great-grandchildren: Fred, V and Eleanor; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Mildred (Powell) Aldrich and his second wife, Frances (Chamberlin) Aldrich.
In keeping with Fred’s wishes, there will be no services.
