Heidi Marie Sprague

Her parents, Amy (Brown) and Arthur L. Duke, Sr., welcomed their daughter into the world on December 1, 1960, in Keene, NH. Heidi grew up in Keene and was a graduate of Keene High School.

Heidi worked for many years as an administrative assistant with the National Grange Mutual Insurance Company in Keene.

She loved reading, visiting the ocean and spending time with her dogs who found a special place in her heart. Family brought Heidi her greatest joy in life.

Heidi was a member of the New Life Chapel in Spofford, NH.

She will be greatly missed by many, especially her husband of 43 years, Donald D. Sprague of Gilsum; her daughter Emily Sprague of Gilsum; a sister, Sharon Spofford of Keene; her nephews Brian Spofford of Spofford, NH, Erik Spofford of Chattanooga, TN; and her stepdaughters Candie Benard and her husband Paul of Stratton, VT, Shirley Butler of Putney, VT; sisters-in-law Joan Derosier of Swanzey, NH, Barb Mooney and her husband Dan of Gilsum, April Sears and her husband Scott of Alstead, NH; and her brother-in-law Wilbur Sprague and his wife Judy of Sullivan, NH. She was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Wayne "Freddie" Spofford, a nephew Keith Spofford, and a sister-in-law Donna Champney.

Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00pm at the Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court Street, Keene. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 30th at 11:00am in the Centennial Cemetery, Centennial Road, Gilsum. All are welcome.
