Joanne Finn

She was born March 29, 1951, in Cliffside Park, NJ, the daughter of Theodore and Adele (Wrobleski) Kordecki. She grew up near Hackensack, NJ and was a 1969 graduate of Bergenfield High School. She went on to gain her MBA in Finance from Franklin Pierce University. On September 12, 1970 she married the love of her life, Dennis R. Finn.

For many years Joanne worked for various companies throughout the Monadnock Region, including: Schleicher & Schuell, Baudelaire, Inc. and Findings, Inc. She loved her work and was devoted to the support of local business throughout the region.

Joanne was a very compassionate and generous person who was always ready to help in planning an event and was always willing to roll up her sleeves and help with the event, as well. She loved spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren. For many years she was the Treasurer of the Keene Rotary Club and was a member of the United Way in Keene and worked with them each year in their campaigns to raise funds.

She is survived by her husband: Dennis R. Finn of Keene, her parents: Theodore and Adele Kordecki of Port Jervis, NY, her daughter: Vicki A. Finn and her husband Nabil Benchekroun of Tyngsboro, MA, her son: Michael R. Finn and his wife Lynn of Westford, VT, five grandchildren: Meghan Finn, Justin Finn, Sarah Benchekroun, Ziko Benchekroun and Aliyah Benchekroun, two sisters: Maureen DeMilia of Houston, TX and Karen Baisley of Washingtonville, NY, her brother: Alan Kordecki of Port Jervis, NY and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday November 2, 2014, at Pappagallos Restaurant, 9 Monadnock Hwy from 3 to 6pm. Family and friends are invited to come and share in a time remembrance and sharing of memories.
