He was born February 28, 1947 in Enfield, Connecticut, the son of John Oscar and Mary (Whitman) Usher. He was a 1966 graduate of Enfield High School. He proudly served our Nation as a member of the United States Army.
John was a very hard working man who took great pride in his work. He loved to be in the outdoors, whether hunting or fishing.
He is survived by two daughters: Heather Gearhart of Land O’ Lakes, FL and Kelley Usher of Land O’Lakes, FL, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two brothers and three sisters and their families, and many extended family members.
Services will be private.
