Martha Ann (Williamson) Rudolf

Martha Ann (Williamson) Rudolf 80, a resident of Keene, NH, passed away at the Cheshire Medical Center, Keene, NH on Thursday, January 24, 2019, surrounded by the love and support of her family, following a period of declining health.

Martha lived in Keene most of her life. Her family was originally from St. Louis, MO. She retired from People’s Linen after more than twenty-five years of service. She had previously worked for Crystal’s Diner in Keene. She also worked for many years as a hairdresser.

Martha loved to spend time with her family and friends and was always happy when the family gathering or special event she was attending included dancing. She had a very quiet, determined spirit and was very compassionate to those she met. Martha was an animal lover and was especially fond of horses.

Over the past several months, Martha had found a welcoming community at Genesis of Keene. She was able to build relationships with the staff and others who lived there. She enjoyed taking part in their activities, especially BINGO.

She is survived by her daughters, Ruth Horton and her husband, Jeff, of Palm Coast, FL and Kathryn Ward of Swanzey; grandchildren, Amy, Jennifer and Sarah; great-grandchildren, Jaydon, Lexi, Kaylee, Gregory, Christian, Nicholas, Trystan, Ashley and Tate; and several extended family members. She is predeceased by her parents, Rolf and Cora Williamson; her mother, Anna Williamson; her son, Rolfe Rudolf, and her brothers, Wesley, Larry and Charlie.

A memorial service will be held at the Sturtevant Chapel, 15 Washington Avenue, Keene, NH, on Friday, February 1, 2019 at 10:00AM. Burial will be private. Family and friends are invited to call on the family on Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 3:00 to 5:00PM at the Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court Street, Keene.
