Martin Neil Wilson

He was born in Keene, on March 28, 1957, to Neil L and Pauline F ( Williams ) Wilson. He was a 1975 graduate of Keene High School.

After graduation he worked in the Beer Sales and Distribution business before going out on his own as the owner and operator of Fireside Chimney Care from 1977 until 1980. He then began his local career as an area homebuilder, hanging out his shingle, ”Wilson Builders”.

In 2006 he moved to Pittsburgh, NH, and spent about 8 years working and restoring his home there. He was also employed at the Buck Rub Pub while in Pittsburgh.

He moved back to Cheshire County earlier this year, after buying a home in Troy that he was working on a full restoration on.

He was a collector of a wide variety of items, from furniture to rocks. He enjoyed skiing in earlier years, and was always willing to help his neighbors in need. Otherwise, he spent his time, restoring his home.

He is survived by his son: Garrett B. Wilson of Keene; his sisters: Darlene Wilson and her husband Frank, of Fitchburg, MA, Deborah Bonenfant and her husband Ray of Nashua and Donna Stevens and her husband Paul of SC; as well as a close friend: Deb Cilley of Pittsburgh, NH.

At the request of the family, there are no public calling hours. A memorial, celebration of life, will be held, on Sunday, December 13 at 10:00 AM at the Troy Recreation Center, 61 South Street, Troy, NH 03465. Burial will be held privately, at a later date.
