
She was born in Keene on August 8, 1927 one of 11 children to Seth and Ruth (Castor) Buffum. She resided in Troy for the past 64 years.
She married Andrew D. Goodell on August 10, 1946.
She worked for Troy Mills for 40 years before working at CR Bard for 9 years before her retirement.
She enjoyed embroidery and travelling with her husband. She mowed and cared for her lawn up until this past summer.
She is survived by her two daughters: Sandra Lafreniere and her husband Harry of West Swanzey and Sheila Depew and her husband Arthur of Troy; a brother: Warren Buffum and his wife Catherine of Harrisville; two sisters: Jane Carroll of Westmoreland and Barbara Campbell and her husband Warren of Alstead; 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years: Andrew D. Goodell; three brothers: Gordon Buffum, Norman Buffum and Earl Buffum; and four sisters: Blanche Towne, Helen Vorce, Mildred Eurinski and Arlene Grassmuck.
Funeral services are private and there will be no public calling hours for Mrs. Goodell. Burial will occur at a later date in the Mountain View Cemetery in Troy.
