

He was born in Keene, NH to Pauline (Wheeler) and Robert H. Henry, Jr. He attended Keene schools and graduated from Keene High School in 1960. He was active in sports and excelled in baseball and basketball during his high school years.
He served in the U.S. Army Reserve.
Peter worked at his family's business, Rivers & Henry, for several years before establishing his own company, Henry Plumbing and Heating, which he owned and operated for 34 years. He also served on the Marlborough Police Department for 11 years.
He is survived by his wife, Marlene (Bleau) Henry, whom he married in March, 1975; two daughters, Whitney Henry of South Portland, Maine, and Jaime Henry of Marlborough; a son, Peter W. Henry Jr. of Nelson, NH; a grandson, Nathaniel Taylor, his pride and joy; and his beloved dog, Sadie. In addition, he is survived by two brothers, Jonathan Henry and his wife, Martha, of Swanzey, NH and Gary Henry of Sarasota, Florida; a sister-in-law, Glennie Henry of Swanzey; two aunts, Joyce Miller of Bellows Falls, VT and Margaret Cotter of Concord, NH; and several nieces and nephews. A brother, Robert H. Henry III, died earlier.
A private burial will be held at a later date. There are no public calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, his family requests that donations be made to a favorite charity.
The Foley Funeral Home of Keene is assisting the family with the arrangements.
