
She was born in Morristown, NJ on February 1, 1964, the daughter of Peter and Penelope (Rich) Wilson. She graduated in 1982 from Monadnock Regional High School, where she played softball and sang in the polyphonic choir. She was an avid skier and swam competitively. She spent summers volunteering at Camp Takodah and Troy Sand Dam Recreation Area, working with a yard maintenance crew, and waitressing. After graduating from the University of Southern Maine in 1986, she worked for several years as an elementary school teacher in Gorham, ME before being disabled by a brain tumor in her late 20s. She continued her love of music by playing piano and singing in the church choir.
Survivors include her parents of Keene; her brothers Garrett and wife Lisa of Sandy, UT, Gregory and wife Renee of Wilmington, DE, Robert of Keene, and James and wife Laura of Drexel Hill, PA; her uncle, Robert Rich and wife Dorothy of Manakin-Sabot, VA; her aunt Melissa Rich Herman and husband Ken of Richmond; seven nieces and nephews; her longtime caregiver, Paula Reynolds of Hooksett; and her friends and caregivers at The Moore Center in Manchester, NH.
There are no public calling hours. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 2 pm at the First Congregational Church of Swanzey, 679 Old Homestead Highway, Swanzey.
