He was born in Keene, on December 30, 1940, the son of Alden J. and Nora E. (Hebert) Beauregard. He grew up in, and attended Marlborough schools, graduating from Marlborough High School. He went on to Graduate from Keene Teachers College with the Class of 1963.
He married Judy E. Derby, on August 11, 1962. They recently celebrated their 53rd Anniversary.
After graduation, the family moved to Merrimack and Mr. Beauregard took a job teaching at the Fairgrounds Junior High in Nashua NH, where he taught for 36 years, before his retirement in 1999. After a brief stay in Merrimack, then Nashua, they would eventually settle in Fitzwilliam where the family has lived since 1972.
Mr. Beauregard was a past volunteer member of the Fitzwilliam EMS and Fire Department. He was also a member of the NH Retired Teachers Association.
He enjoyed the outside, in any weather. Whether working around the house, tending his country farm, caring for the pigs, geese or chickens that they raised over the years, or gathering sap to make homemade maple syrup, he was happy to be outside. He also enjoyed camping with his family, and occasionally hitting the road to travel. He was a family man at heart though, any time that could be spent with family was the option most chosen. Family gatherings, his children and his grandchildren were always his priority.
