
She was born to Frank Dressel and Rosemary Senical on August 18, 1968, in Northampton, MA, where she spent her early childhood. The family later moved to Easthampton, MA, with Tammy graduating from Easthampton High School in 1986.
After graduation, Tammy served two years in the Army before being honorably discharged for medical reasons.
She spent many years searching for her perfect partner, until finally rekindling her romance with her high school sweetheart, Rick Dufraine. Together, they moved to Winchester, NH in 2009, then Hinsdale, NH in 2014, where they settled down.
Tammy was well loved by everyone and was always ready to help someone in need. Her signature dish, galumpkis, was legendary and known far and wide - one of her greatest joys was sharing her food with others. Her passion for animals was evident in her love for her four dogs, Lexie, Pugsly, Rosie, and Lilly, as well as Little Bear, who predeceased her.
She was a devoted grandmother with decorating the Christmas tree with her granddaughter being one of her favorite holiday activities.
Tammy was the dedicated caregiver for her mother, Rosemary, who predeceased her in 2018.
Tammy is survived (and sorely missed) by her partner Rick Dufraine; her brother David Dressel and his wife Amy; as well as her four daughters, Desiree Mayer her husband Eric, Marissa Tiffany Gauthier and her husband Jason, Dakota Lefebvre, her husband Cody, and son Wesley, and Jennifer Champagne, her husband Jake, and sons Gage and Raiden. She is also survived by countless other family and friends.
Calling hours and celebration of Tammy’s life will be on Saturday, January 3, 2026, from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at the Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court Street, Keene, NH. A reception will follow at the Hinsdale VFW from 2:30-5:00pm.
