Wayne H. Christian

He was born October 5, 1941, in Keene, NH the son of Theron and Dorothy (Rowe) Christian. On September 3, 1960 he married the love of his life, Phyllis B. Blake. For many years Wayne worked for Baybutt Construction Company, where he worked as a carpenter.

Wayne was a very hard working man who loved his family very much and who devoted his life to providing for them. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed being in the outdoors. Above all he was a “handy-man” who could fix anything and who would always find a way to make something work again.

He is survived by his wife: Phyllis B. Christian of Swanzey, his son: William Daniels and his wife Jennifer of Richmond, NH, and three daughters: Jeanne Parizo and her companion, David Melvin of Keene, NH, April Beal and her husband Mark of Richmond, NH and Melissa Christian and her husband Erik Salyer of Cumberland, RI, seven grandchildren: Nina Cournoyer, Beth Daniels, William “Bill” Daniels, Chelsea St. Pierre, Madison Daniels, Elyse Adams and Jonathon Beal, seven great-grandchildren: Ashleigh, Haley, Blake, Lauryn, William, Cameron and Connor, his sister: Verne Greene of Keene, NH and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his great-grandson: Douglas Beal, and his brother: Gene Christian.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. A graveside service will be held at a later time and will be announced. There will be no calling hours.
