William N. Ringland

He was born in Keene on March 26, 1932, the son of Winfred and Vera (Watkins) Ringland. He grew up in the area and was a 1950 graduate of Keene High School.

Mr. Ringland joined the US Navy and served from 1951 until 1955.

He married Nancy Troutman in 1957 in Hillsborough, NH.

He worked for Markem Corp for 30 years and retired as an engraver in 1995.

Mr. Ringland was a member of the American Legion Gordon Bissell Post #4 and the VFW Daley Whipple Post #799.

Earlier in his life, Mr. Ringland enjoyed hunting and fishing. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Nancy Ringland of Keene; his two sons David Ringland, and wife Nancy, of Pembroke, NH and Scott Ringland of Keene; his two daughters Denise Gonzalez, and husband Henry, of Naples, FL and Kathleen Prince, and husband Charlie, of Keene; sisters Ruth Faulkner of Keene, Ann Driscoll, and husband Frank, of Keene, Winnie Faulkner, and husband Clarence, of Keene and Sandra Paro of Rochester, NH; sister-in-law Janice Ringland of Keene; 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Ringland’s brother, Robert Ringland, died earlier.

A time of visitation for Mr. Ringland will be held on Monday, January 7th, 2013 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Fletcher Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 33 Marlboro St., Keene, NH.
