

Born in Olympia, Washington, Bruce was known for his kind heart, sharp intellect, and warm, social nature. He had a natural ease with people—whether family, friends, or strangers—and always made others feel valued and welcomed.
He is survived by his wife, Jill Gentry; children, Zachary Christensen and Meghan Christensen; father, Merritt Christensen; siblings, Brian Christensen and Beverly Soutas; and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jacqueline Christensen.
Bruce was proud of his education; prior to securing his MBA locally, he earned a degree in Economics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He remained a passionate supporter of his alma mater and a devoted fan of the Las Vegas Raiders throughout his life.
Professionally, Bruce was a thoughtful and accomplished businessman. He retired from Synchrony Financial and later ran his own consulting firm, BLC Consulting. Known for his eloquence and patience, he was generous with his time and always willing to help others understand or navigate challenges.
He enjoyed good conversations, new experiences, and time spent with others—whether traveling the world, golfing, bowling, or simply relaxing in good company.
A visitation will be held at Keller’s Old Town Funeral Home (220 Keller Parkway, Keller, TX 76248) on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., with a Celebration of Life at 2:30 p.m., followed by a reception.
