Cynthia Diane (Gwin) Case went to be with the Lord on March 12, 2024. Cyndi, as she was known to her family and close friends led a full life with many roadblocks that would prove how strong and courageous she truly was.
Cyndi grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas, and graduated from Mary Carroll High School in 1984. She attended the University of Texas and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. She put her degree to use in retail and held various management positions. She loved retail she always enjoyed interacting with people. Cyndi’s health began to decline in her 20’s when she was diagnosed with diabetes.
Despite her multiple health struggles, she met and married her late husband David Case in May 2014.
For the last nine years of her life, Cyndi lived with residual effects of a major stroke, which diminished her ability to walk but never diminished her sense of humor. She loved to laugh, spend time with her family, play Bingo and marbles, and watch her favorite shows. She left a legacy of laughter, generosity, and deeply shared love.
Cyndi was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Mary Gwin and her husband, David Case. She is survived by her sister, Carolyn (Daryl) McDonald, brother, Michael (Carol) Gwin, sister, Cathy (Duane) Clark; seven nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and great-nephews and she loved them all.
