Gwendolyn Frances Chapman

Gwendolyn F. Chapman, 86, of Fort Worth, TX passed away peacefully at home on January 20, 2022 surrounded by family. She was born on November 12, 1935 in Dallas, TX. The daughter of the late, James Hayden and Affarine Eleanor Chamness, The oldest of 4 siblings. On July 11, 1953 she wed Thomas Jesse Chapman, predeceased.

Gwen held several jobs throughout her life but her real passion was her family and good books. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Jerry Bursby of Fort Worth, TX, Her sons, Thomas "Tinker" Chapman of Lebanon Junction, KY, Randy Chapman and Greg Chapman of Dallas, TX. Sister, Judy Goodson. Sister-in-law, Rose Chamness, Six Grandchildren, Robert, Jason, Merritt, Jamie, Rance and Clayton and many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, their Son, David Chapman and Brothers, Jimmy and Michael Chamness and Brother-in-Law, W.C. Goodson.
