

Kennith Eugene Johnston Jr, age 62 of Fort Worth, TX passed away Saturday, March 19, 2022. He was born in Houston, TX on August 29, 1959. Ken was a 1977 graduate of Sterling High School in his hometown of Baytown,TX. After high school he joined the Navy, and in 1980 he met his future wife, Chris and future daughter, Shannon. Ken worked as a locomotive engineer for Union Pacific Railroad for 28 years and was a member of the Union Pacific Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. Ken had a passion for his family, camping, boating, water skiing, dirt bike and motorcycle racing. He also had a love for the ocean and enjoyed many cruises with his wife Chris. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Kennith and Joy Johnston of Seymour, TX and beloved dog,Tonka. He was survived by his wife of 42 years, Chris Johnston of Fort Worth, TX. Daughter, Shannon and husband Javier Valdez, and their three daughters, Rhiannon, Samantha and Sophia of Springtown, TX. Daughter, Kendra and husband Stephen Blackburn and their children, Faith and Montana of Ardmore, OK. Daughter, Kayla Johnston of Dallas, TX. Sister Kim and husband Charles Massengill of Carmichael, PN. Nephews Derrick and Drake Jennings of Seymour, TX. Father-in-law Billy Bonner of Briar, TX. Brother-in-law Melvin Bonner and Janet Hilton of Briar, TX. Sister-in-law Shelley Bonner and Shane Kirby of Fort Worth, TX. Let’s not forget his beloved fur babies, Dozer, Piper, Dolly, and Kenzie. His celebration of life will be on Friday, March 25, 2022 at 10:00am at Keller’s Old Town Funeral Home in Keller, TX.
