Mark met his wife, Amanda in 1993 in San Diego, CA while serving in the United States Navy. They married March 1, 1994 and went on to have one amazing son, Luke.
After serving in the United States Navy, Mark graduated from UT Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2004 and went on to work as a mechanical aerospace engineer for the Department of Defense.
Mark was a dedicated and loving husband and father, whom also loved camping, fishing, and shooting. Throughout his life, he held an unwavering faith in God, which he shared with those who surrounded him.
Mark joins his mother, Judith Salunek (Robel) in Heaven. He is survived by his wife, Amanda Salunek, son, Luke Salunek, his siblings, Barbara Zamierski and John Salunek, and numerous nieces and nephews.
