Alice passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on February 8th, 2012 in Kelowna, BC in her 91st year. Alice is survived by her daughters: Angelee (Vince) Skywork of Kelowna, BC, Sharon (Gordon) Bray of Crossfield, AB, and Marsha Walsh of Surrey, BC; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 2 great, great grandchildren. She belonged to many clubs in every community she resided in. Alice was Honored Royal Lady in Elkford, BC, and a lifetime member of the Royal Purple. She was a registered author with the Kelowna Museum Writers group, a director with the Rutland Residents Association, and was a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force Association #883. She was also an avid gardener, fisherwoman, guitarist, and pianist. A Celebration of Alice’s Life will be held at Sun Pointe Village “Town Hall”, 700 Rutland Road North, Kelowna, BC at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 11, 2012. Cremation, with interment of her ashes at a later date in Crossfield, Alberta. Arrangements entrusted to Valleyview Funeral Home, Honoured Provider of Dignity Memorial.
