It’s with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our Nana, wife, Mom and friend.
Born in 1934, she was a “spitfire” of a woman. The most loving, compassionate, sweetest person, with a hidden sassiness and a great sense of humour!
She is survived by her loving husband Alex and their children. Jill (Dave), Grant (Sheila), Audrey (Rick), Lisa (Brad).
Her grandchildren Jeff(Jessica), Heather (Evan), Alexandra (Luke), Gavin, Jade and Aidyn. Great grandchildren Adeline and Bennett.
By way of marriage more grandkids!
Lindsey, Jason, Madison, Nathan, Elyse, Tessa, Taylor, Tanner, Carson and Felix.
Alison grew up in Alloa, Scotland, where she met the love of her life, she was 14! They have been inseparable since, January 30th would have marked their 70th anniversary.
Nana was so generous, kind and patient! She gave new meaning to the “strength” of family. She possessed the mental qualities necessary to deal with difficult situations.
Nana was a stubborn fighter, when we worried about her, she’d always bounce back with a smile; she never backed down from a challenge and always fought to return to family.
Alison passed away peacefully at 89 years young, she was surrounded by her family and love.
She was loved by many and will be so very missed.
Forever in our hearts, we love you!
The best Nana, Wife, Mother and Great Nana.
