

Survived by his loving partner Leslie Kendall, his mother Win, brother Greg (Ginny), sisters Kathy Beckstead, Diane (Rick) Kelly, Anita Stapleton, nephew Cliff (Nyree) Grindle, niece Kelly Langham (Zane Oak), nephew Hugh (Carly) Beckstead and many great nieces, nephews and other family members.
Bruce is predeceased by his grandparents, father Harold, brother Doug, niece Shannon Beckstead, brother-in-laws Tom Beckstead and Doug Stapleton and Vanessa.
Bruce’s many careers involved working on the Oil Rigs in various places in North America; RDCO in various roles, Volunteer Fire Fighter with the Westside (while working there, he has published a Memoir with Amazon called “Forged in Flames” with the knowledge he acquired from this experience) before retirement he worked security with the Commissionaires.
Bruce was an avid Birder and a fantastic storyteller and enjoyed photography and outdoors.
His extensive research of Military history led him to the discovery of the roles of family members. He was in the process of publishing another book on his Great Uncle’s service in WW1.
