Candace Marie Grunert passed away peacefully at home on March 31, 2025. She was 38 years old. Candace will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Jesse; her four children - David, Jonathan, Nathan, Ruth; her parents, Maureen and Glen Detwiller, her brother Ryan (Meagen), mother-in-law Renate Grunert, in-laws Esther Huculak (Josh), Joel Grunert and Ben Grunert, and her nieces and nephews.
Candace was born in Kelowna on May 24, 1986, and spent her childhood years in West Kelowna. She met the love of her life, Jesse, and they married in 2010. Candace’s career was being a loving wife and mother, and she excelled at both. She could often be seen as a vendor at the Farmer’s Market selling product for the family business.
Candace touched many lives with her kindness, her love, and her beautiful spirit. She will be deeply missed.
A celebration of Candace’s life will be held at a later date.
