Cecil Paul passed away peacefully on September 19, 2011 in West Kelowna, BC at 89 years of age.
Cecil will be lovingly remembered by his family: wife Catherine "Kay"; step-children Carol (Vic) Weys, Ron (Daisy) Franks, Jim (Nancy) Franks; grandchildren Matthew and Lynsey; sister Velma Sharp; and numerous relatives and extended family throughout western Canada. He was sadly predeceased by two children: Robert and Valerie.
Cec was very proud of his service with the Canadian forces, spending six years (from 1939-1945) with the Army overseas. He returned from the war to serve on the Vancouver City Police Force, and later with the RCMP. He eventually moved into construction, and worked on hydroelectric projects across western Canada.
A graveside service for the comfort of family and friends will be held.
