The story of “Cole Alexander Joseph Ewart”:

“Cole” was a person who was one of a kind, that only is found in one of a hundred people

you meet. He was an “old soul”. “Cole” was a role model, he was a cheerful son, as well

as a wonderful brother, a loving fiancée, and the perfect friend.

“Cole” growing up, he was funny, kind, and mature, even more than most adults. He cherished everyone and

everything that he came in contact with. Of course he didn’t always say it.

Family, friends and co-workers, they all knew that Cole could also be as stubborn as a

mule, which he inherited from his “Mother”. “Cole” also inherited from his “Father”, his quick

wit and tongue. “Cole” also inherited his “Brothers’” drive and passion, or so “I”

would like to think that he did. “Cole” was someone who was and will always be my hero,

as well as a rival.

Coles’ Family and Friends all know he was irreplaceable, and from now

until the next time we all meet, we will always think and care for him like he has never left

to begin with. Even though “he’s” gone, he will live on in the hearts of everyone. “Cole” lived

the last year of his life in pain, due to his mental illness, drugs and alcohol.

“Cole” fought this pain to the utmost, but unfortunately he lost the fight, even though he wasn’t

alone, as his Family and Friends fought to help Cole. But in the end, “Cole” realized what had

happened to his Family and Friends and didn’t want to burden us anymore. So, “Cole” made the

“tough choice”; “he” decided to go down with the ship in an effort to save his loved ones from

falling into ruin and despair. As some will think it was cowardly, “I” hope that people will

realize that he may have increased our pain for a while, but in the end, he chose to help us

erase the pain by bringing us together as a whole “New Family” only to prove that the bonds we share

are thicker than blood. “Cole” is the strings that will hold this “New Family” together.
