THOMPSON: Dora Elizabeth. Born January 5th, 1929 in Nipawin, Saskatchewan, Dora passed away December 4th, 2013 in Kelowna after a long and courageous battle with dementia. Dora is survived by two sons, Brad (Kathi) and Bruce, her sister Janet Bradley, four grandchildren Michael (Andrea), Jenna, Cody and Shane and two great grandchildren Cameron Rose and Chayton. Dora was predeceased by her loving husband Jack and her four siblings Ellen, Eva, Harvey and Doug. Special thanks to Dr. Nickerson for his long time care of Mom and Dad. The family cannot express their thanks enough for the loving care that Mom received from the staff at the Lake Country Lodge and more recently at Brandt’s Creek Mews, Apple Grove unit. Without the loving care provided by these exceptional people the lives of people suffering from Alzheimer’s and Dementia, and their family members lives, would not be the same.
