Emily Astella (nee Periche) who was born in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta passed away peacefully in the presence of her family at the Kelowna General Hospital on December 3, 2011 at the age of 74. She is survived by her loving husband of 18 years Lyle, son David (Catherine) Thompson, and numerous “just as important” other individuals that she adopted as her own. Emily was predeceased by her parents, sister Annie, brother Ed. Emily will always be remembered as one who loved unconditionally, and shared that love with all that knew her. A Celebration of life Service will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Willow Park Church with Pastor Brian Penner officiating.
