Herbert Barry Jerome

February 23, 1944 - December 2, 2019

It is with great sorrow, but with much love and gratitude for a long life well lived, we announce that Barry passed away peacefully on Dec. 2, 2019, at the age of 75.

Born in Victoria B.C., Barry resided in Castlegar B.C. for the majority of his life. Everyone in Castlegar would always remember Barry by his white cadillac always playing an Elvis 8-track, driving down Columbia Ave., my dad in his black cowboy hat and boots.

Barry will be lovingly remembered by his three children; Dave, Darcy and Ericka; his grandchildren; Jared, Devon, Tianna, Cody, DJ, Sia and many good friends. Barry was predeceased by his brother Don.

Cremation has taken place at First Memorial Funeral Services and a gathering to celebrate Barry's life will be held at The Black Rooster in Castlegar B.C. for his family and close friends on Saturday, January 11th from 3p.m. - 5p.m. If you wish, donations can be made to the CCU and the 3 West floor at The Kelowna General Hospital. Our family is grateful for all the Dr.'s and nurses who had made our dads last few days very peaceful.
