I worked with Jessica at the office on Dilworth for a long time. She was always kind and respectful so we hit it off as work friends right away. I came back from one of my travels with an animal print coat that she always admired. A few years later , I was cleaning out my coat closet and I knew Jess had daughters . So I brought a bag of coats into the office for her . She smiled and said no thank you but we’ve got too many coats and clothes going on in our house. I told her the animal print coat was in the bag and she said with a huge laugh, “I’ll take it”! We would have a kind word or a laugh everyday I saw her . Losing her , was like losing sunlight.

Monty and family, we are just totally heartbroken in hearing of the passing of lovely Jess.  Such tragic news and it has really shattered our hearts. We have so many great memories of spending time with all of you in Ontario and in B.C. with your entire family and extended family!!! We will cherish those happy memories always and I can picture Jess's bright smiling face and her eyes lighting up while making all of us laugh with great stories of past and present, especially when talking about your kids. Her love knew no bounds and she was always so very very proud of the kids and her love for you Monty was to the moon and back!! Jess's infectious laugh would light up a room and have everyone laughing along with her. The sun will not shine as bright without her being here but I know she will be shining her love down to all of you and watching over you and guiding you through these very very hard difficult times. Jessica was a great friend and co-worker. She always made me laugh and was a cheerleader for everyone's success.  She will be missed very much. My condolences to her family.

We first me this bubbly and beautiful soul Jessica, when her dad Big J was traded to Winnipeg and  has become my brother in Christ. For years after John and Nora moved away, we would  hear about how Jessica was flourishing as a joyful and wonderful mother. Always a positive influence in her family, her strength and perseverance in life had a profound influence on everyone who had the privilege of knowing this Angel. Let your spirit rise to the Heavens dear Jessica and say hi to my Christine.  

We were devastated to learn of Jess's passing.     Even though we are miles apart, we always kept Mont and Jess in our circle of very good friends.   We fondly remember Jess when she first met Monty and we have kept in touch over the years.  She was a happy shining soul, a wonderful loving mother and wife.   Jess will be greatly missed.   Please know that you are always in our thoughts.

My mother taught me everything  I know about  compassion, love, and just generally being  a good and kind person. I'll miss how when I got home from work or school  she'd have a list of stuff I do that annoyed her and then she'd switch gears and ask about my day while we walked around  the house. I'll miss how her and I would sit outside and discuss life and the philosophies about  it, until she was inevitably distracted by a "chippy". I'll  miss everything  about  her, she was my first friend and teacher and I'll  cherish  that forever and I'll do my best to cherish  the time we had together rather than mourne the time we lost. I love you mom and wherever you are I hope your still being you💚

My heart sank to hear the news! Jess was a bright light and was a great support for me during my time at the Ministry of Social development ! Her beautiful heart and care of those she worked with will leave a empty space!

I am so saddened that you are no longer with us. You always made the time to share your knowledge, offer a hug, and laugh. You were an incredibly positive and energetic person. I am grateful to have had the chance to get to know you, and so thankful for everything that I have learned from you. 
My deepest thoughts, and prayers are with your family whom I know you loved so very much.  The world lost a piece of sunshine.

I’m so sorry for your loss.  

Even though we haven’t seen each other in a very long time I always thought we would meet again one day and reminisce about all our funny stories and adventures from Mainroyal.  Memories of going on adventures with the kids, the 4 of us going to Niagara, the time the bee got on the car lol, the time we went back my house after a New Year’s Eve party and you feel asleep on my familyroom floor with your head not to touching the floor, calling you to come over when one of the boys body parts was zipped up in his zipper lol you always came, always laughing, we had so much fun.  You telling me the neighbour called you by the wrong name for years but you didn’t have the heart to tell her lol and soooooo many more memories.  I’ve always thought of you over the years and I hope you thought of me too because our friendship meant so much to me, always will.  I love you Jessica ❤️

I miss seeing you at the back table saying a happy good morning as I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes. 
You were always there to listen when I needed to get something off my chest and you were the best mentor I could have asked for. 
You were always open to questions and would drop everything to help out. Thank you for everything.
You are greatly missed by the many people who had the privilege to meet you.

Oh Jess, I am going to miss our morning talks you always were  always there to listen and hear my conversations.  You gave good advice and made me laugh so much over the years.
You were a great support in so many ways personally and at work and I considered you a good friend.  There is no one that I would have rather confided in.
You are gone way too young and you had so much living to do!
You will always be in my heart and my memories.

I was fortunate to work with Jessica for several years at the Ministry of Social Development.  She was such a positive influence and an inspiration to us all.  She had a great sense of humor – you could hear her contagious laugh often.  She cared about her coworkers and was always ready to help with a big, bright smile. 
 
My deepest condolences to Monty, Jessica’s children and her parents.  Jessica was very proud of her family and spoke of all of you often.  I hope you all take extra care during this difficult time.  Jessica will be greatly missed and will always be in our hearts.


My sincerest condolences to all of Jessica's family and friends.  I worked with her at the Ministry of Social Development, always such a pleasant person with a wonderful smile.   She made a difference in the work of serving others.   Rest in peace.
