Our dear Mom who passed away quickly and peacefully after living for some time with lung disease. Born in Fort William, Ontario, Judy made Kelowna her home from 1982 until her passing. A brave, wise, and independent spirit to the end, she remained devoted to her family, her broad network of friends, and her community. Judy was a passionate learner and cook, and she rewarded any spicy joke with unrestrained laughter. Judy is survived by daughter Linda Emigh (Keryn), daughter Colleen James (Peter), son Brian Emigh (Jerry), grandsons Camden and Jayden, and former husband Bill Emigh (Peggy).
We hope Judy is now reunited with her beloved sister, Phyllis.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Doctors Without Borders, the Stephen Lewis Foundation, or another charity of your choice are encouraged. A Celebration of Life for Julia will follow in the spring.
