Kate Emily Whiteman

She was born Jan 27th 1928 to parents Robert & Jessie McCrea at her grandparent’s home in Southern Sask.

She was a wonderful loving mother, grandmother & great grandmother. She was predeceased by her loving husband Gordon, her parents Robert & Jessie McCrea, her brothers Bob & Eric , sisters Marjorie & Helen She is survived by two children, son Larry(Cheryl) of Kelowna BC & son Lloyd (Trina) of Creston BC. Three grandchildren Royce, Sandra & Janice. Plus several great grandchildren.

She loved the farming lifestyle , gardening, horseback riding, & raising animals. She was an avid poet. She loved spending time with family & playing crib and bingo with her many friends. Kate will be greatly missed by her loving family & all who knew her.

As requested by Kate, a Private Family internment will take place in the Keremeos Cemetery, Keremeos BC . Memorial donations can be made to the Cancer Foundation and/or Children’s Hospital.
