Lynne was born in Kelowna on February 22nd, 1953 to parents Jack and Anna Whittingham. She lived her whole life in Kelowna, except for a brief stay in Vancouver where she found big city life wasn’t well suited to a small-town girl.
Lynne had a long and rewarding career as a legal secretary in Kelowna, and soon became known as the top property conveyancer in the area. She helped countless people navigate their way through the process of buying and selling their homes, and was highly respected for her knowledge of the legalities of real estate.
She loved her time in the outdoors with family, and spent many weekends at the family cabin fishing, hiking, and enjoying wildlife. She was especially fond of the birds that came to her feeder during the winter months.
Lynne is survived by her loving daughter Robyn Kittlitz, brother Damer Whittingham, brother Pat Whittingham and his wife Barbara, stepson Jared Kittlitz, cousins Brian, Rob, and Pat Morphy, and her faithful dog Kai. She was predeceased by her parents Jack and Anna Whittingham, her paternal grandparents John and Helen Whittingham, her maternal grandparents Katie and Tony Engelmann, her sister-in-law Sheila Whittingham, aunt and uncle Vera and Steve Morphy, and cousin Bruce Morphy.
