Marilyn Joan Daigneault

Marilyn Joan (Daulby) Daigneault, 84, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend, passed away on December 7, 2025 in Summerland, BC. Born on March 2, 1941, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Marilyn’s life was a testament of love for her family, her friends, and her pets that ranged from cats and dogs to horses. Through the years she was a pet sitter for all types and sizes of animals from the usual household pet or farm animal to pot-bellied pigs. Marilyn also volunteered for Meals on Wheels and was a friend to Critteraid. She found joy in hobbies like gardening, reading, crochet, sewing and camping with Fern and their pets.

Marilyn is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Fernand Daigneault, her two daughters, Sandra Beggs (Dan Beggs) and Susan Gordon (Jayson Gordon), four granddaughters, Alana Newcombe (Alex), Diandra Vinek (Tyson), Abby Gordon and Noelle Gordon, her three great grandchildren, Eleanor, Jasper and Vaira and her brother, Frank Daulby. Marilyn will be deeply missed and her memory will live on through her family.

A memorial service to celebrate Marilyn's life will be held next summer when the family can gather together. In lieu of flowers, donations be made to Critteraid in Summerland, an organization that Marilyn held close to her heart.
