On October 6, 2023, Moira passed away peacefully at Lakeview Lodge West Kelowna, at the age of 81 years. Moira will be remembered by her loving family, husband Jim, son Paul (Dina), daughter Wendy, grandchildren Nicholas, Amber (Nathan), and Christopher. She was predeceased by her brother Norman in October 2006, by her mother Marion in December 2006 and by her father Tom in June 2009.
The family would like to thank her caregiver Bernie Stewart and the staff at Lakeview Lodge for their care and understanding during her final days.
A Celebration Of Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday October 13, 2023, at First Memorial Funeral Services, 1211 Sutherland Avenue, Kelowna.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada, 20 Eglinton Avenue West, 16th Floor, Toronto, Ontario, M4R 1K8.
