Marlene Hamilton

Anna Marlene Hamilton passed away peacefully on May 03, 2023, age 89 years. Predeceased by her Husband Donald and youngest son Gord and her brother George. She is survived by her sons Fred (wife Dawn), Jim and her daughter Wendy (husband Dean) and her sisters Helen Bowes and Mary Ellen, her 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Her and Don spent many years in Canada’s arctic as owners of two fishing lodges. Marlene touched many lives with her kindness and loving nature. She was a wonderful caring mother and accomplished watercolour artist. She will be fondly remembered by her family, friends and acquaintances.

Special thanks to the kind staff at Kelowna’s Northwood Regency Resort, and Three Links Manor for their support, kindness and compassion. In lieu of flowers donations in her name could be made to Alzheimer’s Society of BC .

A memorial service for Marlene will be held on Saturday May 27, 2023 at 11 am at First Memorial Funeral Services, 1211 Sutherland Ave, Kelowna BC.
